Day two - Sketch Design and analysis of site

Today we have been making sketches and sketch models of the site to get to know the potential of the site and what we can design in the specified space. We stuck with the first site as the site is enclosed from traffic and any other risks to children. The site also seems to be the right size for what we want to include in the design itself, e.g a cafe as well as a playground.

Our brief was to design a play space in an Urban environment. On the first day we looked at different sites, looking at different ways we can map the environment. We were also looking at surrounding buildings and the history of the area, as this may affect our design.
